The Gate Cottage has recently been renovated to a luxury standard and consists of a cosy lounge and kitchen on the top floor, with stunning views of the beautiful Thaxted Church. The kitchen is stocked with a toaster, kettle and a microwave grill, perfect for preparing simple meals.
On the ground floor is a plush bedroom, with a King size 4 poster bed and a shower room/WC just across the hall.

Guests will have access to the cottage via the gates of Clarance House, where they will find their own hidden entrance. Guests are welcome to park on the cobbles at the front of Clarance House to unload and settle in, and can then find a free car park 30 seconds around the corner on Margaret Street.
